Who We Are...

“Bark!” About Town, has been providing wholesome goodness since 2003 to the residents of  Central Massachusetts & beyond.  From 2004—2007 we owned an operated a local boutique in conjunction with the city’s local animal shelter.  Recently,  we have found that the best way to supply you, our loyal consumers, with the freshest product, is to deliver via our online bakery, direct mail orders & thru our various outreach programs.  You asked, we listened…. And now you can get our gourmet goodies delivered anywhere in the world, whenever you’d like!

 

Our exclusive line of treats are all natural, human-grade, & mostly organic.  We never add sugar, salt, additives, or preservatives, so don’t be surprised if you find yourself taking a nibble or two, before passing it along to your resident Fido.  We take great pride in everything we bake and guarantee it’s freshness, aroma, and flavor upon arrival.

 

Jennifer Skorvanek, our Founder, earned her Bachelor Degree in Animal Science at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.  She has also continued her education at both Colorado State University and The Ohio State University.  Her love of animals (and desire to spoil them) is what drives her continuing pursuit for knowledge. 

 

With her animal nutrition background, Jenn has created a comprehensive menu of canine bakery items, full of nutrition & wholesome goodness, so you never have to worry about the treats you give your loved ones.  Through research (and many, many taste tests) our core menu offers something for everyone—even those who may have wheat or gluten allergies!!!

 

While we do not bake for kitties, we love to spoil them too!  So, be sure to check out our Recipes for Kitties page, where we offer easy to make recipes you can create for your  own furry felines.   

 

Rest assured that all of our products are tested with our own human & furry family members first.  Nothing makes it to our shelves without first passing their paw of approval.
