Recipes for Kitties

1/4 Cup Drained Tuna Juice

1/4 Cup Fine Cornmeal

1/2 Cup Whole Wheat Flour

6 oz. Drained Tuna

1 Tbsp. Parsley

(Optional: 1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese)

                     

 

 

           Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

 

           In a mixing bowl, combine drained tuna, parsley and 1/2 of tuna juice.

 

           In another bowl, combine cornmeal & whole wheat flour.  (Optional:  Stir in Parmesan Cheese.)  Slowly stir in rest of tuna juice until mixture forms a cookie dough texture. 

 

           Roll out mixture to 1/4 inch and cut into purr...fect shapes for your      feline.  Smaller shapes are better (1” or less).   Bake on greased cookie sheet for approximately 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown. 

 

           Store leftover cookies in fridge for a great midnight snack!!
